Scream at the Beach is designed to take guests into a world of horror and adventure. Each season we bring back updates to our favorite themes and introduce new ones to keep it fresh and make what's waiting around every corner a new surprise for new and repeat visitors. Our cast members play a key role in bringing this terrifying world to life.
Responsibilities
- Provides a technical resource in the area of Mechanical Ride & Show Engineering
- Responsible for various engineering tasks including concepts, mock ups, design, ergonomics, layout, and stress analyses
- Identify design conflicts and assist in revising attraction mechanical element design documentation as required
- Support installation and test and adjust activities
- Direct and participate in troubleshooting of attraction equipment problems as required
- Prepare training materials and provide training to maintenance staff
- Prepare and assign attraction tool carts for each attraction
Requirements
- Completion of our Monster Training
- Strong knowledge in multi-discipline areas including. machine design and mechanism, material and welding methods, hydraulics and pneumatics, fatigue resistant design, etc.
- Strong communication, problem analysis and resolution skills
- Reliable transportation to the event site
- Ability to work in very dark environments
