Role Details
Scream at the Beach is designed to take guests into a world of horror and adventure. Each season we bring back updates to our favorite themes and introduce new ones to keep it fresh and make what's waiting around every corner a new surprise for new and repeat visitors. Our cast members play a key role in bringing this terrifying world to life.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily show operations and special events
- Design shows and performances, train and supervise Entertainers and support team
- Develop stage cue sheets, drawings, equipment lists and set-up specifications for special events
- Develop the weekly and nightly schedule plans for Entertainers
- Responsible for a quality guest experienceeach show should be delivered with the same energy level
- Train Entertainers on guest relations: i.e. interacting with guests, posing for photos, etc.
- Be an inspiration and guide for new volunteers
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of costumes
- Maintain supplies: makeup, accessories, prizes and novelties, etc.
Requirements
- Completion of our Monster Training
- Good knowledge of standard theatrical safety codes and techniques
- Reliable transportation to the event site
- Team player with good interpersonal & communication skills
- Some stage makeup abilities would be helpful but is not required
- Ability to work in very dark environments
