Costume Specialist

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain costume area
• Keep costume area secure (you will be issued a key)
• Issuing costumes to fellow Cast Members throughout Operations and Entertainment Locations
• Operating a computerized costume checkout system
• Operating basic laundry equipment
• Loss prevention: track down missing costumes and accessories
• Repetitive overhead reaching, bending, and heavy lifting
• Moving heavy costumes from location to location
• Handling and laundering soiled garments
• Making repairs to costumes
• Designing and creating costumes when needed
• Working independently, with minimal to no Guest interaction
• Support the implementation of new operating strategies for improving service and efficiency

• Completion of our Monster Training
• Reliable transportation to the event site
• Team player and result-oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Some costume design training helpful, but not required
• Flexibility of schedule to ensure timely return of clean costumes to costume area no later than 5:00 pm each day
