Role Details
Scream at the Beach is designed to take guests into a world of horror and adventure. Each season we bring back updates to our favorite themes and introduce new ones to keep it fresh and make what's waiting around every corner a new surprise for new and repeat visitors. Our cast members play a key role in bringing this terrifying world to life.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and volunteers
- Clean costumes and make repairs as needed on a daily basis (at home)
- Return cleaned costumes to costume area by 5:00 pm each day
- Organize and maintain costume area
- Keep costume area secure (you will be issued a key)
- Help to maintain a quality volunteer experience
- Check out costumes to volunteers at start of each evening and check them back in at end of each night
- Loss prevention: track down missing costumes and accessories
- Support the implementation of new operating strategies for improving service and efficiency
Requirements
- Completion of our Monster Training
- Reliable transportation to the event site
- Team player and result-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Some costume design training helpful, but not required
- Flexibility of schedule to ensure timely return of clean costumes to costume area no later than 5:00 pm each day
