A Newly Themed Scream at the Beach will feature FIVE New Haunted Attractions, Monster Gift Shop, Activity Area, Roaming Monsters, and more

Portland – TW Productions LLC, a thematic environment design company and operator of Portland’s Halloween event Scream at the Beach, announced their plans for the 2003 Halloween season which includes new attractions, new themeing, and a renewed commitment to bringing quality family entertainment to the region. Construction has already begun and the installation will commence in July on five new attractions, the most of any haunted event in the Northwest.

"Scream at the Beach is growing up fast," said Henry Miller, TW Productions LLC owner. "When we reopen next October, our guests will experience the type of thrills, excitement, themeing, characters, and entertainment that only Scream at the Beach can deliver."

The enhanced Scream at the Beach "scream park" will feature five new chilling attractions including: Alpha Station 13, a futuristic space station that is being threatened by menacing aliens; The Forbidden Temple, an Indiana Jones style adventure into the crumbling ruins of an ancient Central American temple; Museum of Horrors, a collection of oddities; Theater Macabre, featuring live shows of magic and mayhem; and Nigel’s Haunted Playhouse, designed just for kids with hands on exhibits and takehome crafts for young adventurers.

In addition to the new tours, the event will also offer unique collectables found nowhere else in a new Monster Gift Shop, refreshments, Tarot card readings, photo opportunities, and new remote scare stations where guests can participate in the tour surprises by remote control.

Known for providing a safe place for teens looking for activities and families with thrill seeking children, Scream at the Beach hosts and monsters receive special training to help keep everyone safe and having a good time.

"This year's opening of Scream at the Beach will offer more thrills than any similar venue in the region," Miller said. "The transformation set to take place at the SuperCenter this summer will be nothing short of 'scarerriffic,' enhancing a destination already known for good times."
